The World Health Authority has declared this area to be the healthiest in Europe. The area is well serviced by the airport at Alicante which has daily flights to most major UK airports. The area boasts many beautiful fishing villages as well as major entertainment attractions like Terra Mitica and the Benidorm Palace. The area also has many International golf courses. Winter temperatures average 18c and the area remains open to tourists the year round.
